Extra Curricular Activities

At the British School Algiers (BSA), we offer a range of exciting extra-curricular activities (ECAs) designed to help students unlock their potential, discover new passions; to grow, connect, and succeed.

The great thing about ECAs at the BSA is that many of them are led by our students who are ready to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

Whether you want to dive into the world of Asian languages, challenge yourself with strategic chess or craft beautiful crochet designs, there’s something for everyone.  Sharpen your coding and robotics skills, join the football team for fun and fitness, or unleash your culinary talents in Masterchef.

If you’re a science enthusiast, don’t miss Science in Action.  This hands-on club lets you explore thrilling experiments from the IGCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Physics curriculum while working with your peers.  Plus, get ready to showcase your skills in the Science in Action competition at the end of the term!

At BSA, we believe in supporting every student’s journey to success.  That’s why our Peer Tutoring Programme pairs senior students with those needing extra help, providing personalised academic support and building a strong sense of community.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your skills while giving back to others.

As you can see, ECAs at the BSA aren’t just about learning—they’re about having fun, building friendships, and exploring new horizons.
